Sequim Washington to be exact. I live at an elevation where I can see the valley below at about 4 miles; the San Juan de Fuca shipping lanes is about 10~15 and Canada is about 20~30 miles. I would like to get a telescope and stand that has the range and capability of viewing these diverse distances and would look nice in my living room. Portability and size would not be an issue.
